Dax is out of here...

Dax left last night to his mom's house to hang with her and the sister and baby. He will be gone until Wednesday night. It is a very strange thing as his mom bought him a ticket down there and then wondered why I didn't go too. hmmm... not sure. 1) I think it is weird that you would just buy him a ticket. 2) I have to work 3) that is just weird and I feel like you don't want me there and I am not going to spend money to go see you. Weird. And, both Dax and I feel like it isn't a vacation. He doesn't have a car while he is there, he is pretty much trapped in her house the whole time at the whim of them ... and the baby mostly. I am glad I didn't go... but I am sad to not have Dax around. His mom is kooky sometimes. Also, I TOTALLY cleaned our house last night. Threw away three garbage bags full of crap and dirt and everything. It looks awesome and I feel better about our place. The nice thing is that it will stay that way for the next three days while he is out of the house. I only have to clean up my little messes. I still miss him though. prednisone thyroid medicine

Much relaxing and quality chill time with the hubby was spent over this long weekend. I had a very good time. Daxy and I kicked of the induction phase of Atkins, and I have already lost the bloat... 5.5 lbs of it. I have been peeing like crazy ... it is awesome. I feel great today... and have felt like crap all weekend. The hunger has subsided... and I am all jazzed about being back in the saddle. Today is the start of the last push for the year. 5 weeks until we are done here for the end of the year. I need to make my mark and bring in some sales and hope that some of my clients REALLY want to purge their budgets. That would completely rock!!! Thanksgiving was good. We decided to leave Wrigley at home and drive down and back in one day to Lynchburg. It was a lot of driving ... but we were so glad we did it in the long run. SO GLAD.
